National Crochet Tool Day

Worship of Tools Day 2021

March 11, 2021 in the World

Worship of Tools Day is observed on March 11, 2021. Worship of Tools Day is a chance for men to celebrate tools by working with them or buying one. A tool is any physical item that can be used to achieve a goal, especially if the item is not consumed in the process. Tool use by humans dates back millions of years.and other animals are also known to employ simple tools.

A toolbox is a box to organize, carry, and protect the owner’s tools. They could be used for trade, a hobby or DIY, and their contents vary with the craft of the owner. A toolbox could refer to several types of storage to hold tools. It could mean a small portable box that can carry a few tools to a project location or a large storage system set on casters.

Aloha Friends and Family!

I like to share my first Blog on Different Challenges with some great ladies.

This is National Crochet Tool Day!

I Chosen my crochet hooks as my favorite Tool. Without my hooks their be no crochet projects. I’m lost without my favorite hooks, call me picky it’s just how I do. My hooks are used on various projects depending on the type and brand of yarn is involved. Either way my hooks are egonomic to accommodate my carpal tunnel and my trigger thumb issues. In the beginning, my resources were limited budget wise and I was able to receive hand me downs from elderly loved ones. I didn’t complain not one bit but that was many moons ago.

The way I’m celebrating National Worship Tool Day is through my world of Crochet and to add to the celebration March is Crochet month!

WHAT IS NATIONAL CROCHET MONTH?

In 1994, the Craft & Hobby Association named March “National Craft Month”, to celebrate the creativity of crafting. Six years later, the Crochet Guild of America named March “National Crochet Month”, to promote the art of crochet and engage enthusiasts and experts. With this, March has become an excellent time to celebrate all crafts, especially crochet!
